The day begins in Ribeira Brava, the historic village of the Seminário-Liceu, with a coffee and a walk through the stone streets. Next is the Monte Gordo Natural Park (1,312 m), with a guided trail among dragon trees, lilies, and endemic species, and views over the Fájan and Cachaco valleys.
After lunch at a family home, we descend to the rock formations of Carberinho in Tarrafal and end at the natural pools of Juncalinho, carved into the lava, for a swim in the Atlantic in the late afternoon.
